Google Color Maps

Comex partnered Google to transmit the colorful spirit of Mexico in their own streets. That's when Color Maps appeared: an interactive map where people can navigate different color palettes using the Street View engine. The project involved a nice social action, since they literally painted entire blocks within the same color range helping lower income classes to revitalize their homes. We joined forces with Tronco to do the Art Direction and recreate that universe, so we designed the neighborhoods for the animation promo presented in Cannes Lions 2016 (and yes, their idea was good enough to win two of them!).
